About me

I am a highly adaptable, results-driven and self-motivated individual who works well under pressure and I deliver excellent results, usually to very tight deadlines. I am a team player who encourages collaboration and am always open to new ways of working.

I am currently a Sitecore Contractor at Angle Digital Ltd. Before this, I was the Lead Web Developer at DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Ltd, leader of the UK legal expenses insurance market. In this role I lead the web team charged with the development and maintenance of a large portfolio of legal information websites.

Primarily I'm a backend developer who builds applications using the Microsoft stack, including: ASP.NET 3.5+, MVC 3+, Webforms, Web API, WCF, SQL Server 2008+ (including stored procedures, views etc), ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Team Foundation Server.

Other technologies and skills include and are not limited to: HTML 5, CSS 3, Responsive Design, LESS, Javascript, JQuery, MongoDB, Git, XML, JSON, SOAP, RESTful services, Design Patterns Unit Testing, NUnit, Moq, Dependency Injection frameworks (Autofac, Ninject, Unity). I am also experienced in managing various types of servers, including Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 R2) on Microsoft Azure, Rackspace and other hosting companies.
